C'est la vie :) We are lucky that we love Kathmandu and quite honestly we chose to fly from here in case of something happening, as it did, and we would be stranded. Bad, of course, was not giving a contact address and phone number, Email is not reliable, there are too many power cuts in Nepal.
It was very reassuring for us that we could contact you as we did not have Pem's number. You have been a great help and it has been much appreciated.

should anyone ask for a driver and/or guide - I can without restrictions recommend those, Pem had organised for me, namely Karma Gyeltshen, who let me feel safe a 100% and Tashi, Pem's brother, who is an excellent guide. Could not imagine a better combination.

our trip to Bhutan with all the numerous interesting insights in culture, buddhism, festivals, the landscape etc. was very enjoyable and even surpassed our expectations.
The organisation was impeccable, hotels have been a pleasant surprise and food was always delicious with rich and tasty buffets. We have been also lucky with our guide and driver, felt safe all the time driving through the terrain and its many bends.
We got to know Pem as a committed woman, perfectly organising our stay in Bhutan. Valued the invitation to an easy-going and sociable evening with her family.

our Bhutan-trip passed almost too fast, it was an unique experience as one will find uphold values here non-existent anymore in the rest of the world. We enjoyed the local hospitality, especially the dinner with Pem and her family.
Thanks for all your help and preparations, which convinced us to visit this country.

I would like to thank you once again for providing the contact to Pem Dem. We have met twice and I was invited to her home for a real bhutanese dinner. On this occasion I was also introduced to her husband and her 4 kids. Pem is a fine and intelligent woman.
I am very excited about Bhutan, rarely had me a country fascinated this much. I was lucky with my guide, who was clever, funny and very prudent, we had a real good time. There have been magic moments when we met a real Lama or when we have been invited three times by monks in their monasteries for tea. Unbelievable!!
Of course I gave enthusiastic recounts everywhere, also in my home town Lich.
